Down and Dirty done
Nick and Richard Dance (Crawdaddy) – known collectively as Eye2Eye – have now signed their set of eight down-and-dirty, retro/neo soul/funk delicacies exclusively to a library in the U.S. But they've already written a new one called 'This Luv Stuff' for the 2017 collection and there are plenty of ideas on the phones yet to be worked up. The new stuff is shaping up to be more high-energy and up-tempo, but still with those sublime funk grooves and tasty guitar licks that define their collaboration. More to come in the fullness of time. |

Vive mucho reggae
Working with the hugely talented Paul Cufflin – aka ElijahHoney – on the lyrics for some reggae songs. Since discovering we're both Toots and the Maytals fans we decided we had to take a shot at producing our own blend. Two Brits, one in the windswept UK and the other in snowy southern Spain, turning out music from the sunny Caribbean. See, that's what's so great about the internet; getting to work with people in other territories and discovering our common ground. One done, more to come! |
